Girls Softball League of Westfield, NEW JERSEY
The Girls Softball League of Westfield (GSLW) is a not-for-profit organization, the purpose of which is to provide the girls of Westfield, NJ with the opportunity to learn and to play fastpitch softball. As a general proposition, the GSLW’s programs are open to all girls (grades K-12) who live in Westfield or who go to school in Westfield. And, with some exceptions, the GSLW’s programs are organized and run entirely by volunteers from the Westfield community.

TRAVEL TRYOUTS SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 2025
Tryouts will happen outdoors at Memorial Fields for the Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 seasons. Times are TBD.

To coach in our leagues, you must be Rutgers-certified. Spring registration is closed, but if you're considering coaching during the Summer and Fall seasons, we'd love to have you!
Rutgers Coaching Clinic Sign-Ups
To coach in our leagues, you must be Rutgers Certified. The Rutgers SAFETY Clinic (Sports Awareness for Educating Today’s Youth ™) is a three-hour program that meets the “Minimum Standards for Volunteer Coaches Safety Orientation and Training Skills Programs” (N.J.A.C. 5:52) and provides partial civil immunity protection to volunteer coaches under the “Little League Law” (2A:62A-6 et. seq.)
